The Federal Government passed the No Child Left Behind Act in 2001. The bill is based on the belief that by setting high standards and establishing measurable goals we can improve individual outcomes in education. Schools were forced to test students to ensure they are meeting the standards. Schools were enforced to make this happen or they will not receive Government funds. The bill was passed to increase accountability, improve education, and all children receive great education to be better and productive citizens.
The entire real estate market is shifting towards hire standards and new skills needed by Realtors in order to sell real estate. Is this a bad thing?
