The Federal Government has promised to honor the Cash For Clunkers program until the end of this weekend. So, people are rushing to car lots to get this deal before it ends. People are able to receive $4,500 in exchange for their clunkers. Car lots are filled with people wanting to purchase cars. This program has spent $1 billion in one week. That is amazing. What happens to the old cars? Trade in your Clunker for Cash Today. Financially strapped used-car dealers say the federal program could drive them out of business. Another bail out for used car dealers next?
The $8,000 Tax Incentive will be ending November of 2009. So, are home buyers going to be rushing out to cash in on this incentive before this Government Program ends? People procrastinate and wait until the last minute before they have to perform. It will be exciting to see what happens in the next couple of months.
SORRY! THIS PROGRAM HAS ENDED.
Make the Call, Set the Plan, Do the Deal$!

We were joking about this tonight, saying that the tax credit for first time buyers would run out of cash, along with the new GI bill, cash for clunkers and the medical insurance...let's go buy a Hummer!!!
Harry, Cash for Clunkers...., a billion dollars spent in one week, what`s next.
The car companies could us the lift but a billion dollars in a week. I hate to be our kids paying for this spending spree.
It's getting quite a response, and with this type of program as opposed to just throwing money at the auto companies some hard working tax payers may just get their own little taste of the stimulus. This appears to be a better way of getting things moving.
Hey do not worry about. Mr. Obama promised that he will be taxing the top 5% to pay for everything and four generations down the line.
We bailed out some of the car companies with a direct money hit, and now we're on a continuous bail out of them with this program.
I do not think they will extend the package. If they do extend it, then they will extend that home buyer tax credit.
The worst part about this program is they are destroying these cars. I don't like the program, I think it is a big scam trying to get people to buy cars in the name of the environment. (Only really saving about 150 gallons per year in gas per car) But, destroying the cars on top of it? Give the cars to homeless woman or families so they can get a job, how about that?

Todd-they say there is fraud going on because people hack the parts of the car and then destroy the car. Then, sell the parts for money online.
Thanks for sharing this important information with us today. Keep it coming
