We are in a financial disaster all over the world. Every country has been touched in some way over this financial outcome. Many people have been cutting back their spending in order to survive this mess. However, our Federal Government continues to spend money.

This article states that we are borrowing fifty cents for every dollar spent this year. Wow, is this legalized loan sharking at its best. Do you want to "Super Size" that budget deficit? I guess the answer is YES. When are we going to stop the madness? The Republicans will be introducing ways to cut back on Government spending next week? Is it too late? Are the American people in a fog? When are we going to wake up?
This is a serious problem out there. I believe there is this fake sense of security that the real estate market along with unemployment statistics shows we are improving. However, many more people are losing their good paying jobs. Companies are taking advantage of these times to rid themselves of higher paying associates to cut their budgets. Plus, the banks still have about 700,000 homes on their books not even listed with a real estate agent.
Hang on and enjoy the roller coaster. I will encourage each one of us to focus on our own actions in order to survive this crazy roller coaster ride.

If the GOP had been responsible over the last eight years, we would have less of a problem now... but that isn't a good reason for the Democrats to go hog wild, either... The solution to a spending problem ISN'T more spending.
It's not Republicans V Democrats.
The last eight years exemplified some very poor fiscal management. And, now we have to find a way out of it.
We, the people, keep asking our elected officials to give us more and more stuff. And, then we cry for them to cut spending.
We can't have our cake and eat it, too.
Unfortunately,the Koolaid is going to keep flowing...for those who thought the last 8 years were a mess...wait until King Obama and his capitol court are done with us!

This whole mess goes way back.....many more than just 8 years ago. There is plenty of blame to go around. I'm with Janice on looking for meaningful solutions.
