IT IS ONLY $2,500 ALL DAY LONG! NO PROBLEM!
How many phone calls do you receive on a weekly basis from people trying to sell us something? I honestly recceive about four phone calls per week. Where do they obtain our information? Well, they get our information for social media web sites such as Activerain and Facebook to name a couple out there. Companies use these web sites for farming purposes. They stick a person making $10 per hour to call people like us to see if we want to purchase X. Do you like receiving these calls? What do you say when they call you?

My most recent phone call was from a lady stating that she was from a relocation company. She left a message on my phone. So, I called her back within ten minutes. I started a conversation with her thinking that she worked for a relocation professional searching for a Realtor who specializes in the Phoenix, AZ market. My New Yorker sense came out and realized she was trying to sell me a product. I asked her in a stern voice if she was looking for a Realtor for relocation services or that she was selling me a product. She was trying to sell me the rights to a web site that assisted people in relocating. The price tag was only $2,500. Then, she insults me on the phone when I said no thanks to her offer. She asks me, "Is money a problem?" I asked her the same question since she was trying to sell me. People do follow the rain. So, you better buy your umbrella for protection.

I get calls from telemarkters daily. Wow
How do they get your number? That is my question
They always call you during dinner. I refuse to answer the phone. Leave a message if it is important and I will call you back
It doesn't bother me that someone has chosen to make a living using the telephone. I can listen, tell them no or hang up.
I mean really they could be on food stamps or getting a Gov check and I could be supporting them that way. At least they got a job.
Charles-no problem on my side. I listen to them and they listen to me
Hello Harry,
Funny post! Telemarketers can get phone numbers from numerous sources. If you are a realtor, they can see it from the website of the real estate company, they can also search for a house for sale and see the phone number of the realtors. Thanks!
Jenny
They also get your number from AR
There's a company (local) that keep calling me for business. They have a pay-per-click set up, and want to "sell me" my own . . . SEO words. When I tell them I'm not interested, they tell me I'm buried on the back pages of Google, Yahoo! (now Bing will be included in their repertoire). The ONLY reason they call me is because they found me (front and center) and believe I am an able-bodied money generator for them. I'd rather pay my web guru for the same thing, and do it myself. I can bid on SEO words myself, and don't need a company to do that for me, or in my behalf.
Great input Carla
