NEW AGENT JOINS THE OFFICE DO YOU EMBRACE OR IGNORE NEW AGENT? MAKE THE CALL
I was informed this past Friday that we will be having a new agent join our company. I work for a small real estate brokerage that has about ten agents at this time. I very much prefer working for a smaller brokerage at this point in my real estate career. I am able to offer a one stop shop for my real estate investors
- Acquisition of real estate
- Rehabbing
- Property Management
- Buy/Hold or Fix/Flip strategies
I am very proud of our little office with offering the services and products that we have for our clients
So, I was introduced to the new agent this past Friday. We all have a choice to embrace or ignore the new real estate agent. Many agents would consider her new competition and go into protective mode. I have witnessed countless times in well named, bigger offices over the last ten years. I find this to be very foolish and childlike behavior among real estate professionals. Why? There is plenty of business for ALL.
I have always believed in the following statement below:
REAL ESTATE IS A TEAM SPORT!
We have all developed our own personal and professional networks over the many years of living and being in the real estate business. Now, we become much more powerful and productive when we combine networks to become one super network. We get paid for bringing people together. We close real estate transactions through other people. Real estate cannot be practiced with the "LONE RANGER" mentality in my opinion.
I have arranged a lunch appointment with the new agent to discuss how we can both help each other out and close more deals as real estate professionals. The new agents was receptive to my offer and very excited about new opportunities going forward in real estate.
We all play for the same team. Close Deal$$
Make the Call, Set the Plan, Do the Deal$!
