Real estate is a contact sport. That means as Realtors we need to talk with people. We need to let everyone we know what we do for a living. Your name should pop up first when someone has a real estate need. Today, many people are in trouble with their properties and do not know who to contact. Be the one in your local community to solve their problem with their trouble property. Locally, many people here in Phoenix, AZ, are upside down in their home. - Send out monthly newsletter to my sphere of influence both Email and mail
- Present at local real estate workshops on real estate investing
- Pass my business card out to everyone I come in contact with on a daily basis
- Offer real live local real estate training services for people who want to learn to invest in real estate
- Host Tuesday Morning Breakfast with Harry to discuss real estate investing with COFFEE
I do not understand why other Realtors complain about not having a business. One must make things happen. My mentor told me, "Harry, a true mentor creates the deal for the investor." This is a true statement. I have created more deals over the years than deals coming to me.
I have trained and/or educated more than two thousand professionals over the last twenty years of my professional career. This is one of the first things I teach new real estate agents when they first come into the business. I teach them to have reasons to tap into their own personal networks. Many agents do not realize the size of their own personal networks and ignore it. Why? I have the ability to piece together other people's networks into one network.
