The US unemployment rate dropped for the first time in well over a year. Is this a sign that things are starting to look better? Many people are suggesting that the worst is over. US Employers shed 247,000 jobs in July. That is still a lot of jobs that have been lost due to this economy. When will it stop? Experts are predicting that this recession will stop by the end of this year. I am glad that they are experts at giving opinions. Grandma said, "Proof is in the pudding."
President Obama's favorability among Americans continues to lower as unemployment increases and more foreclosures keep coming at us. Americans want the economy get better so they can put this mess behind them. Many families have suffered during these hard times. I know people that have lost their job. Others have their job with a 20-30% pay cut so companies can get through this rough economy.
There are still talks of a Second Stimulus Package with the Obama Administration. However, public polls show over 60% Americans do not want a second stimulus package. They want the first one to work before a second one is approved.
I NEED ANOTHER BILLION DOLLARS BY TOMORROW.
