The main purpose of this venture is to develop a system where companies can better understand when advertising on social media sites. Plus, Facebook has entered the next phase of their life cycle which is to make money. Currently, Facebook has over 300 million users. Obviously, that is a huge audience for advertising.

Facebook could very well be the next major online social media network. They will crack the code when it comes to attracting major companies to advertise on their social media site. Companies cannot ignore 300 million users. It has to work.
