All the kids are excited that school starts on August 15th, 2011. I know my son is ready to begin the school year. He will be entering the third grade this year. Where does the time go? Anyway, there is a special event to MEET THE TEACHER day at Valley Academy Charter School located in Phoenix, Arizona.
There is still time to attend this event. It is always nice to meet the teacher of your student. See Details below that was distributed to all parents
This is a reminder for all of our families to please attend the "Meet the Teacher" event, tomorrow, August 12th. from 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. We are encouraging all of our families to participate by visiting your child's classroom. You are welcome to bring in your classroom supplies, as well. When you have finished meeting the teacher we are asking our parents to have their picture taken for the new Parent I.D. badges. The cost of each badge is $4.00 each. You can also sign up for our afterschool programs in the M.P.R. The Valley Academy Parent Organization would like to remind parents that used uniforms will be available for purchase in the VAPO room, room #8. Please feel free to come in and check out the uniforms we have available as well as the VAPO room. Did you know that all Valley Academy parents and guardians are a part of VAPO? Well, you are - and we welcome you! Used Uniform prices are: Shirts, Shorts, and Skorts are $1.00 Sweaters and Pants are $2.00 OR, swap 2 for 1! * Please remember that if you are swapping uniforms that they must be clean, gently used with no holes, no stains, and must adhere to the dress code standards.
