I AM GOING TO GIVE MY HOUSE BACK TO THE BANK. I HAVE NO OTHER OPTIONS
I am coming across a lot of people who are in pain when it comes to their financial pciture. They do not know who to call and trust. I have people call into my radio show just completely frustrated because they have been trying for over a year to complete their loan modification. However, the bank continues to ignore their requests. Then, I had a 70 year old lady informed me that the bank told her she should obtain roommates so that she could make her payments or she will lose her house. Yes, we are in a middle of a crisis. People have to know the consequences of each action above both from a real estate law and tax implication. Both advisers charge a small one hour fee to go over the persons overall history. Then, the person is explained the consequences of each action above both from a law and tax consequence. It may not be in a persons best interest to do a short sale. Personally, I just want the individual to be fully informed at all times. I have to admit by having these two people on my team makes a world of difference.
