GOODWILL EVERY SATURDAY 50% OFF SALE PEOPLE WAITING IN LINE
The Goodwill is a nonprofit organization where people drop off their unwanted items in exchange for a tax write off. Have you noticed your local Goodwill has changed since we were kids? The Arizona Goodwill stores have become a regular retail store that people shop at to cut down on their expenses during this bad economy. People are looking for ways to save money.
The Goodwill stores open at 9:00AM on Saturday morning. There were people standing in line starting at 8:00AM that morning just so they could be first in line. This has become quite the little secret over the years. We have professional shoppers purchasing merchandise to resell on the Internet on sites like Craigslist and Ebay for profit. These people are very serious. They shop for the following items:
Jewelry
Paintings
Books signed by the author
Clothers
Shoes
Furniture
It was a mad house at the store. The entire backroom was on the sales floor for this event. I was quite impressed because I spent five years of my professional career in retail. This is an all new Goodwill store that knows how to compete in this retail environment. People drop off their items for a tax write off. Then, Goodwill prepares item to sell. Every item had a price tag on it. I was very impressed. My big bargain for the day was a lasso that was priced $19.99 and I got it 50% off. I was surprised that it was still left. Two other people were disappointed when I took it. Snooze you lose!
I encourage all of you to check out your local Goodwill Store on Saturday monrnings. It is a great way to meet people in your community and pass out your real estate card.

Phoenix Real Estate Resource Center

It was another normal day in Phoenix, Arizona with temperatures in the 100's. People who live in Arizona look forward to this time of year because it starts to cool down. However, we still get temperature in the 100's during September like today. Hey, I love the weather. There are times when I take the family to the North country to enjoy the cooler weather. I like to walk in the woods in the morning with a hot cup of coffee. The kids love throwing rocks into the water. So, I walk to my car after hosting another week of popular real estate radio show. Yes, that does say 114 degrees at 3:26PM Arizona time.
Let me demonstrate the IN and OUT procedure for Arizona residents with hot cars:
