MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

Grandma told me to mind my own business. Well, this phrase takes on a whole new meaning to me when it comes to being a Realtor. Why? It is my job to mind my own business. Yes, real estate is a business and we have to treat it as a business. I see way too many Realtors treat real estate as a part time job. We have to work at it on a daily basis. There peaks and lows in real estate. We have to master all times in real estate.

Here are ways that I mind my own business:

  • Dedicate two hours per day in the monring making phone calls-Make it rain
  • Weekly meeting on Monday to set the work for the week and meeting on Friday to verify we completed the work
  • Know my numbers and how to improve them
  • Network with other professionals
  • Keep my radio show fresh and live with new ideas
  • Develop a team
  • Create one stop shop for investors
  • Continue to educate myself to improve upon my skills
  • Talk to my mentor one time per month
  • Focus
  • Cast out fear
  • Increase social networking in my business
  • More ActiveRain involvement

I want this to inspire other people to mind your own business. Grandma knows BEST.
