BANKS TO SELL MORE DISTRESSED HOMES WITH MORE INTERIOR PICTURES
I was having a conversation with another Realtor friend on how listing agents who represent banks would be able to sell more homes if they would take more interior pictures. It would allow me to sort threw homes faster when working with real estate investors. It is what is. How many listings one have one photo on the MLS? The listing agent is doing a disservice to the bank. Are they really marketing the property to its fullest extent?
I have an IDX solution that allows all of my investors to search the MLS on their own. Many people like this option because they can see what homes are active that meet their parameters. However, their main frustration is not enough interior pictures. Google maps allow us to view neighborhood and house from the outside. The only way to view the house would be to go physically. Maybe that is the reason why there are no interior photos. It forces Realtors to show the home.
There are some nice private and conventional loan programs that can assist the real estate investor when it comes to financing the repairs on the home. The resources are available to the primary and investor to fix up the homes. We need private capital to fix the homes to get them up to market value to start stabilizing neighborhoods one home at a time.
This has been my personal experience at this point. Your input would be very much appreciated.
